Our water softener warranty includes the following:
- Limited Lifetime Warranty on the Tank
The tank of your Tundra water softener is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. If your tank fails due to a manufacturing defect during normal use, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you. This warranty is limited to the tank structure and does not cover damage caused by external factors such as freezing, physical damage, or improper installation (if having someone else besides our trained professionals install the unit).
- Limited Lifetime Warranty on the Control Valve
The control valve, a critical component for regulating water flow and regeneration cycles, is covered under a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. If your control valve malfunctions due to a defect, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or neglect is not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Coverage - For customers Without Tundra Extended Warranty (5-year limited warranty)
Our water softener warranty includes the following:
- If you choose not to enroll in Tundra Extended Warranty, the warranty for your water softener will be limited to 5 years instead of the extended coverage outlined above. Without Tundra Extended Warranty, you’ll be responsible for the costs of any repairs, parts, and labor outside of the 5-year period. Additionally, you will not receive the regular maintenance, salt delivery, and testing services that come with Tundra Extended Warranty. To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your system, we recommend considering Tundra Extended Warranty, as it provides comprehensive protection and peace of mind beyond the standard warranty.
- 5-year warranty parts and labor on the media tank, brine tank, and drain line.
- 5-year warranty parts and labor on the Ion exchange resin, Garnet, activated carbon, and KDF-55 inside the media tank.
- 5-year warranty parts and labor on the clack valve and all electronics within valve as well as the Transformer.
What Is Not Covered
While we stand behind the quality of our products, the following issues are not covered under our water softener warranty:
- Improper Installation: If the water softener is not installed according to the manufacturer's instructions because it was installed by someone other than our certified technician, the warranty may be voided. It is essential to have your system installed by a professional to ensure optimal performance and maintain the warranty coverage.
- Damage from External Factors: The warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods or fires, hurricanes, freezing temperatures, or any external physical damage, including mishandling or accidents. Cut or chewed power wires from outside source like weed whackers or rodents will not be covered.
- Negligence and Misuse: The warranty does not apply to any damage resulting from improper use, neglect, or failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures, such as neglecting salt levels or not replacing parts when necessary. Dead grass from moved drain lines (each softener has a drain line that gets ran away from the grass). If the line gets moved from where our professional installed it, we are not liable for the grass that it kills.
- Cosmetic Damage: The warranty does not cover cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect the functionality of the system.
